Subaru / 2015 Impreza

Issue Status: Discussion

They issued an extended warranty for CVT Transmission but they are making you wait until your car breaks down to get anything for it. I tried to get ahead of the game by changing my transmission fluid but they designed the car so only they can do it. So instead of the $25 of fluid and 5 minutes of labor this should be, you have to pay them $350 dollars to do it. They have admitted to doing these things so you would have to take you car into a Subaru dealer and now they are overcharging because they have monopolized something that is easy to do for every other car company. Unless of course you want to wait until your car breaks down because this fluid they said will last forever doesn't.
