FAULKNER TOYOTA, TREVOSE PA - 2008 RAV 4 OIL CONSUMPTION

Issue Status: Discussion

I BOUGHT A 2008 RAV 4 IN JULY 2017 AND AFTER A MONTH THE OIL LIGHT CAME ON. AFTER FINDING OUT ABOUT THE OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM WITH THE 2.4 LITER ENGINES I TOOK IT TO MY DEALER AND THEY SAID THE 10 YEAR WARRANTY-RECALL HAD ENDED OCT 31 2016 AND THEY WWOULD NOT FIX MY CAR. THEY SOLD ME THE CAR KNOWING IT HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED FOR THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THE SALESMAN TOLD ME ACCORDING TO THEIR RECORDS THIS VEHICLE WAS NEVER BROUGHT TO A TOYOTA DEALER TO PERFORM THE WARRANTY REPAIR. I ACANT BELEIVE THEY CONCEALED THIS FROM ME AND DIDNT INFORM ME BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR. THIS IS FRAUD PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I'M SO UPSET WITH TOYOTA I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO THIS TO ME AND APPARENTLY ALLOT OF OTHERS ALSO. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOYOTA. THEY NEED TO BE SUED AND FORCED TO EITHER FIX OR COMPENSATE THE CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED THESE VEHICLES.
